Terms of Service

⚠️ Important Notice

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using our services. By submitting an enquiry or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dignify Events' services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dignify Events.

2. Services Description

Dignify Events provides premium mobile event infrastructure services including but not limited to:

  • Luxury mobile restroom facilities
  • Mobile bar services and beverage infrastructure
  • Mobile refrigeration and cold storage units
  • Marquee and temporary structure installations
  • Catering support services
  • Event infrastructure planning and consultation

All services are provided "by appointment only" and subject to availability.

3. Booking Process

Our booking process follows these steps:

Submit enquiry through our website or contact methods

Consultation

We contact you to discuss requirements and provide quote

Confirmation

Sign service agreement and pay deposit to secure booking

Execution

We deliver, install, and manage services on event day

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Quotes: All quotes are valid for 30 days from date of issue. Quotes are based on information provided at time of enquiry and may be subject to change if requirements change.

4.2 Deposits: A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made within 14 days of the event date.

4.3 Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date. We reserve the right to cancel services if final payment is not received.

4.4 Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for:

  • Late-night events (after 10 PM)
  • Remote locations requiring special access
  • Additional services requested on event day
  • Damage to equipment caused by misuse

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Client Cancellation:

  • More than 30 days before event: Full refund of deposit
  • 15-30 days before event: 50% refund of deposit
  • Less than 14 days before event: No refund of deposit

5.2 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party.

5.3 Our Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel services due to extreme weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will provide a full refund or reschedule at your convenience.

6. Client Responsibilities

As our client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your event requirements
  • Ensure adequate and safe access to the event venue for our equipment
  • Obtain any necessary permits or permissions for our equipment installation
  • Provide a suitable, level, and stable surface for equipment installation
  • Ensure electrical and water access if required for specific services
  • Notify us of any venue restrictions or access limitations
  • Ensure the safety and security of our equipment while on your premises

7. Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • Delivering professional, high-quality services as agreed
  • Arriving on time for setup and collection
  • Maintaining clean, hygienic, and fully functional equipment
  • Providing professional staff as required by the service agreement
  • Responding to issues promptly during the event
  • Leaving the venue in a clean and tidy condition after collection

8. Liability and Insurance

8.1 Our Liability: We carry comprehensive public liability insurance. However, our liability is limited to the value of the services provided. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8.2 Client Liability: You are responsible for any damage to our equipment caused by misuse, negligence, or improper handling by you, your guests, or third parties at your event.

8.3 Equipment Malfunction: In the unlikely event of equipment malfunction, we will make every effort to repair or replace the equipment promptly. If this is not possible, we will provide a proportional refund for the affected service.

9. Health and Safety

We adhere to strict health and safety standards. Our equipment is regularly serviced, cleaned, and maintained. We reserve the right to refuse service if we deem the venue unsafe for our equipment or staff.

For events serving alcohol, we require that responsible service of alcohol practices are followed, and we reserve the right to refuse service if these standards are not maintained.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is our property and protected by copyright laws. You may not use our content without our express written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify clients of any material changes via email or website notice. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
